Vintage tools - infill plane N634
Up for sale is a showy antique INFILL SHOULDER PLANE, with an EBONY INFILL & a BRONZE BODY & laminated STEEL SOLE- always the sign of a high quality plane.
This one nearly looks too good to be user made - the flowing & shapely lines are proportionally gorgeous, but there are no makers marks.

CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. The strike button on the heel has been near hammered in flush, however no cracking to the ductile bronze body. The wedge needs adjustment- a thin slice of leather glued to the underside or the wedge would help, it currently has a cardboard packer under the blade. It’s a lovely plane for the discerning workshop.
