Antique tools - plane blade Y2360:


Up for sale is a rare NAPOLEON embossed Plane Blade by SUTTERLIN & DEBENESSE, stamped SANS RIVAL- without equal, featured on Page 90 in the book "Tools Rare & Ingenious, Celebrating the Worlds Most Amazing Tools" by S.Nagyszalanczy.

40mm wide x 162mm long.

This is a rare blade & they were only produced for a very limited time in France from 1840-70.

CONDITION

This blade is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, some heavy pitting to the reverse, a rare Napoleon embossed cast steel plane blade by SUTTERLIN & DEBENESSE.
