SOLD Vintage BOXWOOD MULTI TOOL with 8x bits T496

Vintage tools -  multi tool T496 

Up for sale is a gorgeous antique MULTI TOOL fashioned out of BOXWOOD with a turned ACORN style end cap.
The handle is hollow for bit storage & this piece has 8 x various interchangeable bits including- 2 x countersinking bits, 1 x triangular file bit, 1 x small slotted screwdriver, 1 x larger slotted screwdriver, 1 x chisel bit, 1 x saw bit, 1 x curved needle bit, the colour of the boxwood is just magnificent.

It's a better than usual set & would have been made by one of the better toolmakers- I've looked but cannot see a name.

CONDITION

This multi tool is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some age checks to the removable end cap, other than that it's a lovely tool & the bits are in good shape.
