Up for sale is a fantastic contemporary VERITAS Low Angle SMOOTHING PLANE with adjustable mouth.
The perfect plane for planing end grain, mitres, curly & cranky grained timbers etc.
Made in CANADA & a technically clever design, an adjustable frog & mouth & a Norris style depth & lateral adjustment system & also adjustable grub screws that lock the blade in place & stop that annoying side slop.
Size - 50mm wide 3mm thick full blade.
Weight - 1.7kg
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic lightly used condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, some scratches to the sole & the blade is sharp, one of the handier planes to have in your workshop.
