Vintage tools - T8714

Up for sale is a fancy antique architects & engineers DRAFTING SET by STANLEY of LONDON with GERMAN SILVER  bodied compasses & steel lining pens one with an IVORY handle & the finest finial that we’ve ever seen.

There is an Ivorine scale ruler & protractor concealed in the lid of the box,  it’s in original leather bound box, lined with purple velvet.

There is also an original handwritten 1835 letter from the Strand, England in beautiful calligraphy.

Made in a time when tools were prized for their beauty  as their functionality, its a high quality drawing set, ready for to go to work for its new owner.

CONDITION

This drafting set is in authentic antique condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, the cloth tab to open the lid for access to the scale ruler has been shortened, some light storage rust & oxidisation.
