Up for sale is a vintage CARBON STEEL Chefs KNIFE, possibly of FRENCH origin.
Strong full tang construction & forged bolster, 343mm long blade x 50mm tapering blade x 480mm overall, riveted Ebony handle scales with a period repair in copper wire.
Weight - 400gm
CONDITION
This KNIFE is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, will require a light sharpen prior to use. A period repair in copper wire to the handle & a chip to one rear handle scale & a previous owners mark. This is an impressive knife, it’s straight & the blade is full & gently breasted as it should be.
