Up for sale is an antique DRAWKNIFE (shaving knife) by SHEFFIELD toolmakers GILPIN .
The cutting edge has a gentle curve & is 11” long.
The drawknife is 455mm overall long with 60mm egg shaped handles.
Weight - 570gm
CONDITION
This drawknife is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, some pitting to the blade & heavy wear to the cutting edge & grind marks to the rear of the blade, missing 1 x peened rivet to one handle, a heavy duty drawknife by a good maker, with a regrind & sharpen it will be a fantastic drawknife.
