Vintage tools - chisel set T10047
A handy mixed set of 3 x PIG STICKER MORTISE CHISELS by various makers.
1 x 7/16” - 11mm I.SORBY, 180mm blade & 335mm overall long.
1 x 3/8”” - 10mm JOSHUA MITCHELL , 165mm blade & 305mm overall long.
1 x 1/4” - 6mm BUCK & HICKMAN, 180mm blade & 335mm overall long.
1 x 7/32” - 5mm WARD & PAYNE, 155mm blade & 295mm overall long.
Extremely useful for cutting out mortises with their trapezoidal cross sectioned blades they don't get jammed in the hole & are made stronger through the depth of blade for levering chips out.

CONDITION
These chisels are in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, sharp & ready to use, some isolated pitting but none in the cutting edges. Essential for the unplugged workshop & they make chopping mortises a breeze.
