Vintage tools - drawknife T8060
Up for sale is a smaller 6” antique DRAWKNIFE (shaving knife) by SHEFFIELD toolmaker HEARNSHAW BROTHERS, it looks to have either Boxwood or Fruitwood handles.
The cutting edge is straight & is 150mm long.
The drawknife is 290mm overall long with 80mm handles.
Weight - 350gm
CONDITION
This drawknife is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, one of the handles has a large age check in it & one ferrule is split,but the handle is still tight & usable. Its a lovely little drawknife by a good English maker. It will require sharpening prior to use.
