Vintage tools - plane Y100
Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH Grecian Ogee style MOULDING PLANE made out of live oak
It is stamped P.SABY AINE to the top of the body.
A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.
Weight - 550g
Size: 223mm long
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use. The sole has had the last 40mm of moulding section removed no doubt to fit the plane into a tight access job. It's a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
