Vintage tools - plane Y150
Up for sale is a very cool antique FRENCH Coach makers PLANE / shave with a FRENCH OAK body and a slightly CONVEX shaped base.
Handy for using as a mini scrub plane for shaping chair seats.
Weight - 270gm
Size: 210mm x 23mm
CONDITION
This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age and use, it’s very tidy, an age check through the body at the top of the escapement & an iron plate fitted to the nose & a couple of strengthening dowels fitted into the sole, a gorgeous & unusual French tool, needs sharpening prior use.
This plane was part of the Yves Longfils collection that we imported from France in 2019.
