Up for sale is a fantastic early antique FRENCH hand BRACE, absolutely gorgeous timber on this one.
Extremely elegant in their simplicity, all iron construction with fancy turned beech handles.
They do the job very well, in fact better than a lot of more complex "bells & whistles" braces.
8" sweep, unsigned.

CONDITION
The brace is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age and use.
The turned crank handle has an old repair, it's a very old brace & still works well enough.
